Prior to WWII, sports car icon Ettore Bugatti set his sights on conquering the air the same way that his cars had conquered the track. The result was an air-racer like no other with a unique V-tail, laid down cockpit, and twin contra-rotating props driven by a mid-mounted engine. While it never raced as hoped, Special Hobby has brought this fantastic plane to life in a lovely kit, packed with resin and photoetch details and featuring an additional set of fictional markings for if the Bugatti actually did make it to the Thompson Trophy race in Cleveland 1940
