New Arrivals - 1/13/2023
Good morning everyone! Haven has started 2023 strongly with added items in all categories. We’re working hard to continue our commitment to a broad variety of high quality model kits.
To that end, we’re excited to have Arma Hobby’s latest 1/72nd scale wonders hit the shelves. Their new P-39Q Airacobra sets a new standard for that magnificent fighter while their Sea Hurricane makes use of 3D Printed parts to ensure the conversion is both accurate and detailed.
Speaking of accurate and detailed, armor builders will DEFINITELY want to check out Border Models' new FULL INTERIOR Stug III! Aside from being jam packed with every component conceivable, it also comes with an array of stowage AND four crew members perfectly posed for their positions within the fighting compartment.
Hasegawa has delivered a bunch for us with their All New kit of one of the big gaps in modern tooled kits of great JDM cars. Their kit of the KPGC110 Skyline GT-R from 1973 is miles ahead of the old tooled examples from Aoshima and Fujimi making for a great chance to build the last GT-R until the all-conquering R32 arrived on the scene in the late 80’s.
Hasegawa has also managed, in cooperation with Big West, to finally free the Macross property of the licensing entanglements with Harmony Gold that have prevented their line of Macross kits from being imported to the USA. Thanks to this, we have an array of kits from Macross Plus and Macross Zero on the shelves now with more to arrive as they’re released. This is a major score as the Robotech series from the 80’s that used Macross as a base is one of the great classics among anime fans. Another great classic, of course, is the hysterical and destructive Dirty Pair series and we’ve managed to lay our hands on a lovely kit of the Lovely Angel and its crew, Kei & Yuri, also by Hasegawa.
There’s restocks galore and always plenty more to be excited by at Haven. The best part is that we have some HUGE news on the immediate horizon for aircraft modelers. Think Detailed. Think 1/32nd scale.
